How to Install Your Magnetic Wall Decal

Before you begin, check our Wall Compatibility Guide to make sure your wall is ready for the fun!
If your wall isn’t decal-friendly, no worries — we highly recommend using our MDF board for best results and long-lasting play.
Step 1: Prep Your Wall for Play
Before the fun begins, make sure your wall is clean, dry and smooth. A quick wipe with a dry cloth will do the trick!
If you’ve just washed the wall, wait at least 72 hours before applying your decal — and skip the detergent (it can mess with the adhesive).
💧 Important: MagPlay doesn’t stick to humid or damp surfaces.
Step 2: Peel & Stick the Magic
Start by gently peeling one corner of the backing.
Line up the decal just how you like it, then slowly peel away the rest while pressing it to the wall. Use a flat object like a book or card to smooth it out and push out any sneaky air bubbles.
✨ The more love (and pressure) you give it, the better it sticks!
🔧 Need a little extra help?
We’ve included 6 bonus double-sided adhesives with your MagPlay. Use them on the corners for extra grip — or cut into smaller strips if needed. Just note: they might leave small marks if your wall isn’t decal-ready.
Step 3: Give it a Final Hug
Once your decal is fully in place, run your hand or a soft cloth over the surface to make sure it’s snug and secure.
If you spot any air bubbles, gently push them out toward the edges.
📦 Save your packaging!
You can reuse the plastic backing if you ever want to move your MagPlay.
(Just a heads-up: we can’t guarantee the decal will re-stick perfectly on a new wall.)
